WHAT CAN SOUND DO?

Sound healing, has a basis in both neurology and psychology. It has been proven in neurological studies that listening to music makes us more productive and creative; it can relieve stress and, depending on the sort of music, can improve our moods.
Sound not only helps to induce a state of deep relaxation, it also has a unique and profound way of moving through our areas of energetic blockage. These energy blockages can be found in our physical body, as well as in our our subtle body, our aura.

Can Sound Waves Heal You?

Almost everything we experience in the universe is simply our perception of waves.
When sound waves reach our ears, they are converted into electrical signals that travel up the auditory nerve into the auditory cortex, the part of the brain that processes sound. Once sound waves reach our brains, they trigger responses in our bodies.
This process alters our emotions, releases hormones, and triggers certain impulses.

HOW CAN SOUND HEALING AND SELF-CARE PRACTICE HELP YOU?

Using multidisciplinary combinations of humming, toning, tapping, chanting, breathing techniques, massages, and instruments that ground and soothe, enlighten the Soul and Spirit, make the mind travel and the brain develop new connections, the sessions are helpful with burnout, depression, emotion awareness and management, ADHD, trauma, PTSD, OCD, addictions, Alzheimer’s and dementia as well as pain management, better sleep and clarity. It can bring back joy, focus, happiness, love, hope and help you glow inside out.

STRMis my acronym as it represents so many aspects of my path, personality, and my mission.

A transdisciplinary artist, I studied in Arts, Literature, Entrepreneurship, Special FX/Prosthetics & Advanced Makeup Artistry as well as Self-Care Practices &Sound Healing Therapy.

I created this name to share my arts and multifaceted practices.

After a career in the Beauty industry, I ended up in the corporate world, living a very busy and fast-paced life.

In 2019 a serie of traumatic events during which I lost my home to a fire, left my body, mind and life shattered.

I left Canada to go find peace, reset my mind and realign my life. I was looking for the meaning in all these events and natural ways to heal myself.
